Since some people have been confused about Camilla or the origin of the character, she is indeed a Who Framed Roger Rabbit fantard. And yes, she is Roger and Jessica's daughter. And anybody who automatically thinks that makes her a Mary Sue can just get out now. Here is what I wrote out for her role-play blog:
Name: Camilla Katelyn Regina Rabbit
Description and Background:
Camilla Rabbit is the daughter of Roger and Jessica Rabbit. In 1948 she was designed as an infant for a special series of shorts that were planned to be released into theaters. Maroon Cartoons was excited about banking on Roger’s sudden popularity spike—since he had a hand in saving Toontown from the evil Judge Doom—by creating a spinoff series to be released into theaters starring Roger and Jessica’s adventures in attempting to raise a child. The studio was all a flutter at the prospect of the profits and family appeal. They even invented a way for Camilla to grow up naturally from an infant to age sixteen in order to capture her as she grew and changed. Once she reached the age of sixteen, she would remain the same, physically, forever. Unfortunately, right when the series was given the green light, Maroon Cartoons underwent a downward spiral where the bank was concerned. They were given a run for their money by larger studios such as Disney and Warner Brothers. Camilla’s project was put on the back burner until June of 1949 when it was finally cancelled altogether. Having a scrapped, infant toon on their hands who didn’t belong, biologically, to anyone, the studio had no choice but to give her a DIP bath. They simply didn’t have the time or money to waste on finding this toon a proper home. Fortunately for Camilla, her prospective co-stars happened to have open hearts and an open home. Roger and Jessica were horrified when they realized the studio’s plan and adopted Camilla before it was carried out. Ever since, Camilla has lived with the Rabbits and none of them wish it were any other way.
Camilla is a happy-go-lucky toon who prides herself on being friendly. She had orange hair and is quite curvy in stature. She enjoys singing at the Ink and Paint Club, going on trips with her family, and playing the ukulele. Camilla is very awkward when it comes to flirting at first. She lives in Toontown, California, and loves taking walks. She’s a very affectionate rabbit who enjoys making friends.
As well as all this, I had originally planned to write a fan fiction/fan novel about Camilla meeting and teaming up with Eddie Valiant's nephew and I still may write it someday. I hate to be negative, but I honestly don't care who likes or dislikes Camilla or any part of who she is. i love this bunny girl an awful lot and have a lot of passion for her.
